Lab Accessioner, Temporary-to-Hire | Mon - Fri 8pm - 4:30am | $21-24/hr | Irvine, CA

Ultimate Staffing is hiring a Part-Time Overnight Lab Accessioner for a laboratory setting in Irvine, CA. This role is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented and thrive in repetitive, process-driven environments with a strong focus on accuracy and turnaround times.

  • Pay Rate: $20-$24/hour (depending on experience)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Shift: 8pm - 4:30am
  • Location: Irvine, CA (Fully Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, accession, and verify incoming laboratory specimens with high accuracy
  • Perform data entry and documentation in laboratory information systems
  • Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens according to protocols
  • Prepare and distribute specimens to appropriate testing departments
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies such as missing or incorrect information
  • Perform repetitive processing tasks while maintaining strict quality standards
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet turnaround time requirements
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory procedures, safety standards, and confidentiality guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding specimen issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with lab policies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 2 years lab, specimen processing, accessioning, or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and handling
  • Comfortable working independently during evening/overnight hours
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
